our team
pondosa projects is named for the tiny hamlet of Pondosa, Oregon. Other than a general store, little remains of the once-thriving mill town. It’s a beautiful place, surrounded by mountains and rolling sagebrush hills, far away from civilization. Our Founder & President grew up nearby.
Andre grew up in northeastern Oregon and southern Idaho and moved to Baltimore in 2009 to pursue a Master’s degree at Morgan State University. Despite his rural upbringing, he has always been passionate about cities. After working as a city planner and architect, he started renovating vacant homes in 2013, and founded Pondosa Projects in 2022.
Andre lives in central Baltimore and is active in his community association, as well as other initiatives to improve his adopted hometown. When he’s not working, Andre enjoys camping in the mountains, skiing, hiking, golf, gardening, learning new languages (8 and counting), and cheering for Everton FC.
Adam grew up in New England and moved to Baltimore in 2016. A graduate of the University of Connecticut and The George Washington University Law School, he developed a lasting interest in construction and renovation, and has renovated several homes in Baltimore. When he’s not at the worksite, you can find Adam at Camden Yards rooting for the Orioles (Let’s go Os!!!), sampling the latest local brew, or chasing his two rescue cats around the house.
Javier was born in El Salvador and raised in Baltimore, where he learned the value of hard work from a young age under his father's guidance. What began as early lessons quickly grew into a lifelong passion for construction. With about 14 years of experience in the industry, Javier is always eager to learn new things and sharpen his skills. Being bilingual has allowed him to connect and communicate effectively with others. Dedicated and detail-oriented, he takes pride in delivering quality results on projects both big and small.
